It is a great honor for me, and for the Financial Regulatory Authority of Egypt, to welcome you to the 51st Annual Conference of the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and the FRA Public Conference, which will take place from 11 to 14 May 2026 in the beautiful city of Sharm El-Sheikh.

During the first three days, the IOSCO Annual Meetings will bring together regulators, policymakers, and market leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen international cooperation. This gathering will serve as a valuable platform to explore innovative approaches, address emerging challenges, and reaffirm our shared commitment to resilient, transparent, and inclusive markets.
FRA’s Public Conference, through its high-level sessions on acquisition and takeover trends, AI and innovation in capital markets, sustainability and voluntary markets, and interlinkages between regulators, the conference aims to foster dialogue that inspires forward-looking regulatory practices and resilient market growth. Complemented by interactive breakout sessions highlighting entrepreneurship, organic agriculture, and AI deployment in financial services, the event underscores FRA’s commitment to promoting knowledge exchange, cross-border collaboration, and sustainable innovation in Egypt’s non-bank financial sector and beyond.
Hosting this prestigious event for the first time in Egypt marks an important milestone in our financial reform journey and reflects the recognition of Egypt’s growing role within the global regulatory community.
